The Knowledge Translation Program at St. Michael’s Hospital is offering a free online course, Partners in Research (PiR). This course is designed for patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare researchers interested in learning more about patient-oriented research.

Patient-oriented research engages patients as partners in the research process. The PiR course will focus on how patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare researchers need to be involved in all aspects of research, to ensure research is relevant to the patients’ identified needs. The goal is to improve patient outcomes. This course will help explain what patient-oriented research is, and how to do it.

The course is being offered in April 2018 and October 2018. For more information on the course and how to apply, please visit their website:
